Reiki Session

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle yet powerful technique for stress reduction, relaxation, and healing on both physical and spiritual levels. Originating in Japan, Reiki has many forms, but the style I practice, Usui Reiki, was discovered by Mikao Usui Sensei in 1922. Usui Sensei taught over 2,000 students, and his teachings spread globally, including to the West by Mrs. Hawayo Takata, who introduced Reiki to Hawaii and later to the Mainland.

Reiki is most often administered in person through a “laying on of hands,” where the practitioner’s hands may gently touch or hover above the client’s body. As a Master Practitioner, I also offer distance Reiki, sending healing energy to the client, regardless of location.
